Checklist, the Poke, the Mon, and things like that.

Things to do:
  • Beat BlazBlue's Story Mode
  • Play A Boy and His Blob
  • Play Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
  • Collect all the feathers on Assassin's Creed II
  • Eat some Chinese food
  • Sleep. A lot.
  • Maybe get Borderlands.
So... many... games. I got A Boy and His Blob from my girlfriend for Christmas (as well as a bitchin' Crocodile Chia pet.) She's such a sweetheart. Also got this book Let's Find Pokemon Complete Collection for me with a gift card I hadn't used from a Brawl tourney I got 2nd in. It's pretty much an I Spy book with Pokemon for kids. I have the very first one I got when I was young and the Pokemon craze was in from a book fair! She spotted the Complete Collection at a game/bookstore, which I guess is 3 books combined, and apparently I only had the first one. I love the art in the book, especially since it's kind of older and Kabuto apparently flew back in the day. Who knew? Ahh, Pokemon. You have a special spot in my heart.

Pretty close to beating BlazBlue, just haven't gotten around to it, with Assassin's Creed II taking up the time I play my 360. Now that I finished AC2, I can get a move on, but possibly going back and forth so I can get all the feathers in AC2.

Phantom Hourglass I haven't even touched; I'll get around to it once I'm done with Bowser's Inside Story. I'm almost done with it, too.

And dammit, I've been so tired from waking up earlier to take my sister to school in the morning because my mom's been sick. It's not really horrible, just a chore driving 20 minutes to and from. And this tiredness really makes me hungry for some reason. And I really want some Chinese food. Reeeeeeally bad.

That's a lot of talking to myself. But I think that's what blogs are meant for, aren't they?

Games, games, games

So, I've been playing a lot of things lately.
Assassin's Creed II, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, the obligatory Modern Warfare 2, occasional ODST Firefight mode for some achievements, BlazBlue... All great games, I have to tell you.

Been having a lot of fun with AC2. It's a big step forward for the series, and Ubisoft really did fix a lot that pissed me off in the original. The game feels like it has a soul now. One of my bigger complaints about the first game was that, yeah, you were an assassin and stuff, but Altair didn't really have much of a personality, as well as all the environments kind of seemed blandish. But here comes AC2, full of vibrant life and whatnot. I really like that, makes it feel like the game has a soul.

M&L:BIS is also pretty bitchin'. Borrowing it from a friend, and man is it awesome. I played the Superstar Saga a few years back and loved that game to death. I can honestly say that the series has not lost its magic yet, and I'm really into it. I usually play this in bed before I go to sleep, and I swear it's 3 a.m. and the Dish is telling me it needs to update before I know it.

Modern Warfare 2... I love you so much. You added so much to the series, and I appreciate it. Too many crybabies with this game though. I swear they have the need to bitch about everything. A friend I play the game with has the incessant desire to call everything in the game "bullshit."
"Dude, I got killed by thermal, that's so cheap."
"I just knifed this guy, but it said I didn't! Bullshit!"
Seriously, his crying is getting on mine and my best friend's nerves. It's pretty ridiculous. C'est la vie, I guess.

BlazBlue! I love this game. It took me a bit to get into it and do good, but once I did, I really found this game enjoyable. I like all the characters for the most part. There are a few frustrating things that I find with the game (i.e. Noel Drive-spam, Hakumen as a whole) that would really only frustrate relatively new players, but it's not a huge deal. Took me a while to find a character I like, but of course, turns out that many people use him online. That peeves me; choosing a character and then learning it's not original... I like being original... Anyway. Great characters and story, lots of bonuses and stuff for all to enjoy! One small thing I always like is that the achievement names are great, and I like their descriptions too. I always like that. But one thing that peeved me about the achievements is that a lot of them are secret. I noticed a lot Japanese 360 games feel the need to make as many achievements as they can Secret. But I guess that's what the internet is for.

That about wraps that up for now... as I play other stuff, I'll probably make another post.
Ciao.

Ho-hummity-hum.

So, it's been quiiiite a while since I've updated my blog. I've decided that from now on, this is just gonna be a general blog. A place to put how I feel and what I've been doing.

... On second thought, this'll probably geared a tad towards games anyway, seeing as how that's what I do most of the time.

Anyway! I'm back (I think, maybe, don't hold me to it or anything...) so expect some more posts, O great blog readers, known or unknown.
